A triennial festival uniting an all-female roster of video artists based in Los Angeles, FEMMEBIT spans screenings, live broadcasts of panels and workshops, AR/VR exhibits and more. With your support, FEMMEBIT returns this March to celebrate Women’s Month!
Uniting over 40 artists with the inaugural FEMMEBIT, we share and participate in our commitment to leveraging the power of art and activism to affect dialogue and change. Your presence and support allows us to sustain our commitment to representing women in the arts, to presenting exhibitions cultivating new genres, and to celebrating the artists who share the city we call home.
FEMMEBIT articulates a fluid medium by accelerating an accessible platform in a time when we should expect nothing less than gender balance. Aiming to guide and galvanize continuous collective action, FEMMEBIT’s focus highlights how women working with and between technologies enable progressive ideas through active creation; and how we must work together to shape, share, and grow a future that recognizes the female voice.
