Interlude Artist Residency welcomes Kim Ye in August 2023 to work in a wide range of mediums. Kim Ye is to be provided with support during their residency to explore and expand their practice, which encompasses performance, sculpture, video, installation, text, and community organizing.

Interlude Artist Residency, founded in 2019 by Elsie Kagan, is set in the Hudson Valley arts community and offers residents a studio and a living space that can accommodate families. Residents have the opportunity for studio visits with notable area artists and art professionals. Interlude Artist Residency is founded on the premise that artists need space and time to pursue their vision and is the only residency in the northeast exclusively dedicated to supporting the concurrent needs of creative and family lives. They provide several prepared meals each week and a stipend that can be used for transportation, childcare, food, or materials. An on-site coordinator manages logistics so artists can focus on their work. A full list of 2023 artist residents can be found here.
